Full & Partial Dentures in Orlando, FL

Do missing teeth or ill-fitting dentures make it difficult to smile with confidence? Do you resist the idea of dentures because you think they will look fake and detract from your appearance?

We are pleased to tell you that state-of-the-art dentures created at Alafaya Center for Cosmetic & Family Dentistry are customized to look completely natural and feel great. You will be part of the process from start to finish, ensuring your complete satisfaction with the final results.

There are two types of dentures – full and partial. Both are removable dental appliances that take the place of missing teeth. We use partials when just a few teeth are missing and complete dentures when you’re missing all your teeth.

Comfortable, Natural-Looking Dentures

The biggest concern for most patients is the fit and comfort of their new dentures. However, advances in technology and materials have completely changed the way dentures look and feel. You don’t have to worry about dentures that irritate sensitive tissue or dig into your gums.

We trust only the highest quality dental labs to create your final denture. The denture consists of a base of dental resin shaded to closely match your natural gum tissue. Each tooth is placed separately in the base, allowing for variations that occur with natural teeth. State-of-the-art technology and materials help us create dentures that look, fit, and feel as close to natural teeth as possible.

Dental Implants Add Stability to Dentures

If your partials or dentures move, we have a great solution for you. We’ll make you a beautiful new denture or partial, and for added stability, we can use implants to help lock it in place. This means your denture won’t move like it used to. This is important, especially with lower dentures, which tend to move more than uppers.

Dental implants are artificial teeth roots made from titanium screws, which are placed in the upper or lower jaw. During an implant procedure, several implants can be placed in the upper jaw, sometimes eliminating the need for the palate of a full-denture. Two or more implants are placed in the lower denture to lock it into place so it won’t move around when you eat or speak.

Comparing removable dentures with implant-retained dentures is like comparing apples to oranges. While all our dentures are designed to fit beautifully and complement your appearance, our implant-retained dentures provide the ultimate in stability and security. This not only minimizes discomfort but also relieves you of the worry of embarrassing shifts and movement of the denture at the most awkward moments.
