Wendy- Porcelain Veneer and Crown
Wendy had 2 porcelain crowns on her front teeth. Over the years Wendy noticed the front tooth on the right had darken under the crown which had an existing root canal. As a root canal ages, it causes the natural tooth to darken over the years. Dr Michaelson reviewed with Wendy that the tooth under the crown was darkening due to the existing root canal. To correct this Dr Michaelson removed the existing crown and masked the tooth with color so that the darkness would not shine through the new porcelain crown.
