Taylor: Root Canal, Crown, and Veneer
Taylor’s mother had called our office after much research to find a dentist for her daughter who had an accident away from home while in college. After Dr Michaelson examined Taylor’s teeth it was explained that the nerve was exposed on the front tooth that broke and it would need a root canal, post build up, and a crown. All the photo’s and treatment were sent and explained to Taylor's mother. We also assured her that we see lots of students and help many parents by taking great care of their children’s dental needs. Treatment was started the same day to help Taylor out of pain and repair the tooth so that she didn’t have to go another day with a broken tooth. After the root canal and post was done Dr. Michaelson placed an esthetic porcelain crown on the front left tooth and a veneer to match on the front right tooth. In some cases to keep symmetry and perfect match, porcelain restorations are recommended in even numbers. Taylor and her mother were pleased with the results and it looks as if she never broke her tooth.
